SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior Andrew Overton (Woodbury, Conn.) won his singles match, but the Saint Anselm College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Le Moyne College on Sunday morning at the Skytop Tennis Courts.
The Hawks drop to 0-4 on the season and in Northeast-10 play, while the Dolphins improve to 3-0, 2-0 NE-10.
Overton defeated Adam Celeta, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4, at No. 6 singles.
Freshmen Benji Page (Concord, Mass.) and Kyle Harris (No. Reading, Mass.) earned Saint Anselm's other point with an 8-3 victory in No. 3 doubles against Celeta and Stephane Legris.
The Hawks return to action Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. when they travel to take on Bentley University in a make-up of the Sept. 21 re-scheduled match.
