GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Saint Anselm College women's lacrosse team moved up two spots to No. 13 in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) national poll that was released Tuesday afternoon.

The Hawks, who earned their first national ranking in the history of the program when they broke into the poll at No. 15 last week, went 0-2 last week against a pair of top-10 teams, but played both teams closely and collected 26 votes – eight more than last week.

Saint Anselm (3-5, 1-3 NE-10) dropped a 22-16 decision at No. 7 Stonehill College on Wednesday before falling to No. 2 Adelphi University, 22-12, at home Saturday.

The Hawks have now played six nationally-ranked opponents this year and have posted a -4.5 scoring margin, which includes wins against No. 8 Dowling College (13-11) and No. 12 Molloy College (19-18).

The Hawks return to action Tuesday, March 27 at 4 p.m. when they travel across the city to take on Southern New Hampshire University at Larkin Field. The next home game for the Hawks is Saturday, March 31 at 3 p.m. when they play host to Assumption College at Grappone Stadium.
