GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Erica Devito registered five goals and an assist to lead top-ranked Adelphi to a 22-0 victory against the Saint Anselm College women's lacrosse team at Motamed Field on Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks fall to 1-3 on the season, including 1-1 in the Northeast-10, while the Panthers improve to a perfect 4-0, 2-0 NE-10.
Adelphi scored on 18 of 30 shots in the first half to build an 18-0 advantage at the break.
Freshman goalkeeper Katherine Amato (Bedford, N.H.) made 12 saves, while Adelphi goalkeeper Frankie Caridi stopped eight shots.
Saint Anselm returns to action Tuesday, March 29 at 4 p.m. against Southern New Hampshire University.
