Hawks Win Six-Hour Marathon, 5-4, at Southern N.H.

Manchester, N.H. -- In a match that lasted six hours on Thursday evening, the Saint Anselm men's tennis team came away with a 5-4 road win over crosstown rival Southern New Hampshire. The win is the second straight for the Hawks as Saint Anselm is now 5-3 overall and in Northeast-10 play. Southern New Hampshire remains winless on the season at 0-10 overall.

The match came down to the final singles match at No. 6, with the two teams tied at 4-4. Freshman Michael Hanna (Southborough, Mass.) took the deciding match over SNHU's Cory Lefort, rallying from a set down for the thrilling 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 victory.

Saint Anselm is back in action on Saturday morning, hosting Le Moyne for a Northeast-10 match beginning at 11 a.m.
