Manchester, N.H. (March 30) -- The Saint Anselm
men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 final to crosstown rival Southern
New Hampshire University on Monday afternoon at the Carr Center to
fall to 1-2 overall and in NE-10 play. SNHU is now 5-2 overall and
in the league.
The Hawks picked up their lone point at No. 2 singles as junior
Ryan Garrette (Conway, N.H.) defeated Luis
Ramirez (San Cristobal, Venezuela) by a 6-4, 3-6, 11-9
final to hand Ramirez just his second defeat of the season.
Saint Anselm is back in action on Sunday, April 5th as the Hawks
host Stonehill for a Northeast-10 Conference match beginning at
Noon.
