Perkins Inks NLI to Join Women’s Tennis

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Saint Anselm College women's tennis head coach Nancy Driscoll announced Thursday that Jess Perkins (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Saint Anselm and join the team in the fall.

Perkins, who attends Shrewsbury High School, has captured three straight Central Massachusetts Girls' Tennis Singles Championships and has advanced to three straight state tournaments. Perkins was named to Prince's national Girls' Hot 100 list for the month of December 2013 and was ranked as the sixth-best female from New England. She will major in nursing when she arrives on the Hilltop.

"I am very excited to have Jess become a Hawk this fall," Driscoll said. "Jess comes in as the most highly-touted women's player to ever play at Saint Anselm and I truly believe she will be one of best players in the Northeast-10 Conference."
