2023-24: Competed in all six events for the Hawks as a senior…Opened the season at the Shacklette Cross Country Invitational where she finished in the top-20 after posting a 26:37 6K time…Registered a season-low 5K time by clocking in at 20:21 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 17…At the NE10 Conference Championship O’Connell ran a 6K time of 25:15 to capture 37th place…Saw her best performance at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championship where she posted a 6k time of 24:57.
2022-23: O'Connell competed in all six meets for Saint Anselm during her junior season...She placed 18th overall at the 40th Annual Shacklette Cross Country Invitational finishing with a 6K time of 27:15.7...O'Connell earned a season-low in the 5K after clocking in at 20:08.4 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on September 17th...At the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational on September 30th, she recorded a season-low in the 6K with a time of 24:42.2 finishing 125th overall...O'Connell came in 41st in a field of 107 competitors at the Northeast-10 Championship to help the Hawks earn third place out of 13 teams...She was one of seven Hawks to compete at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championship placing 78th with a time of 25:21.9...She also competed in three unofficial spring track and field meets racing in the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter events.
2021-22: Made her cross country debut at the Shacklette Invitational on Sept. 11, placing 49th with a time of 27:10.6...Logged a season-low time of 20:37.1 in the 5K UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 18...Posted a 6K time of 26:02.8 at the NE10 Cross Country Championship on Oct. 24...Raced in the 3000m and the 5000m in the unofficial spring track & field season, logging a 3000m time of 12:06.02 at the George Davis Invitational on Apr. 23.
2020-21: Raced in the 5000m three times, making her collegiate debut at the Merrimack Track & Field Carnival on Apr. 23...Logged a season-best time of 20:10.81 in the 5000m at the Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships to conclude the year.
PRIOR TO SAINT ANSELM: 2020 graduate of North Andover HS...Ran cross country and was a member of the track & field program for the Knights...Was a two-time Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star for cross country and the recipient of the 2019 Coaches Award for cross country...Earned Second Team All-Star honors from the Merrimack Valley Conference for indoor track & field...Was a team captain for both cross country and outdoor track & field.
