DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's cross country team posted a 14th place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.
Saint Anselm ranked third among Northeast-10 Conference teams participating, racking up 409 points on the day. The Hawks were led by junior Jordan Cook (Biddeford, Maine), who placed 57th in the field of 257 runners with a personal record 8K time of 27:04.89.
Freshman Tom Nelson (Gorham, Maine) was second on the Hawks with a time of 27:34.13 and was followed by senior Anthony Galasso (Reading, Mass.) and his time of 27:46.36. Sophomore Cole Corcoran (Braintree, Mass.) was 86th in the field, recording a time of 27:49.86.
The Hawks were 15th out of 21 teams in the sub-varsity race. Sophomore Patrick Hodgson (Falmouth, Mass.) was 43rd with a time of 29:55.08 and was trailed by junior Trent Briggs (Westford, Mass.), who crossed the line in 30:00.94. Junior Hugh Cameron (Weston, Mass.) navigated the course in 32:28.17 and junior Adam Scott (Groton, Mass.) was 116th with a time of 34:46.89.
Junior Mike Feltham (Concord, N.H.) rounded out the Hawks harriers with a time of 39:30.92.
The Hawks return to the Granite State on Saturday, Sept. 28, competing in the Bruce Kirsh Cup at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds at 12:45 p.m.
