    Senior defender Kevin DeBenedetto (Reading, Mass.) has been named as the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence Award. The awards, in their inaugural year, were awarded to one student-athlete in each of the Northeast-10 Conference sponsored sports.

    Easton, Mass. (June 24) -- Saint Anselm senior men's lacrosse player Kevin DeBenedetto (Reading, Mass.) and junior softball player Liz Trafton (Berwick, Maine) have been named to the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Spring All-Academic Teams, as announced by the Northeast-10 Conference office.
  • DeBenedetto Honored as North/South Game MVP

    Towson, Md. -- Senior defenseman Kevin DeBenedetto (Reading, Mass.) was recently named as the MVP of the USILA-LAX WORLD 2010 Division I-II All-Star Game, which was played at Goucher College. He is the first Saint Anselm player to be honored as the game's Most Valuable Player.
  • Three Hawks Named to 2010 NEILA East/West Game

    Three Saint Anselm men's lacrosse players have been named to the 2010 NEILA East/West All-Star Game East roster. Seniors Kevin DeBenedetto (Reading, Mass.), Ryan McDonald (Bow, N.H.) and Matt O'Connell (Charlestown, Mass.) will each take part in the game, held at Endicott College.

    Manchester, N.H. -- Saint Anselm senior Kevin DeBenedetto (Reading, Mass.) has been honored as a member of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American Second Team. DeBenedetto is the first All-American in Saint Anselm men's lacrosse history.

    Fairfield, Conn. -- Four members of the Saint Anselm men’s lacrosse team have been honored by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) as members of the All-New England First Team. These awards are voted on by the region’s head coaches.
  • Hawks Fall in NE-10 Quarters at Adelphi, 11-8

    Garden City, N.Y. (May 4) -- No. 6 seed Saint Anselm built an early 6-2 lead, but No. 3 seed Adelphi used an 8-0 scoring run to take control as the Hawks dropped an 11-8 final to the Panthers in the Northeast-10 Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday afternoon. Saint Anselm ends the season at 7-8.

    Easton, Mass. (May 3) -- Three members of the Saint Anselm men’s lacrosse program were named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Teams, as announced by the league office and voted on by the league’s head coaches. This is the second straight year that three Hawks have been honored.
  • Hawks Fall to No. 1 Le Moyne, 8-7 in Senior Day Thriller

    Manchester, N.H. (April 30) -- Jack Harmatuk scored with 42 seconds left as No. 1 Le Moyne held off Saint Anselm by an 8-7 final in a Senior Day thriller on Friday afternoon. The Hawks tied the game at 7-7 with 1:46 left in the third before the Dolphins converted the game winner for the only goal of the fourth.
  • Hawks Battle Back Before Falling to Bentley, 12-8

    Manchester, N.H. (April 28) -- Saint Anselm battled back from an early 5-0 hole to close to within 5-4 late in the second quarter before Bentley scored six of the next seven goals to pull away for the 12-8 win at a rainy Melucci Field on Wednesday afternoon. Saint Anselm is now 7-6 overall and 5-4 in the NE-10.
  • Mavericks Topple Hawks in 10-9 Overtime Final

    Springfield, Mass. (April 24) -- Led by a career-high five-goal outburst from freshman Dan Stefanini (Hopkinton, N.H.), the Saint Anselm men’s lacrosse team won its season-high fourth straight game with a 14-11 road win at American International on Saturday afternoon in Springfield, Mass.

  • Weather Forces Changes to the Weekend Schedule

    Manchester, N.H. (April 13) -- After falling behind 2-0 in the first 1:23 of the game, Saint Anselm rallied past Saint Michael's for a thrilling 9-8 win over the Purple Knights on Tuesday afternoon. The win is the first regular-season win for the Hawks over Saint Michael's since March 31, 2004.
  • Hawks Top Assumption, 12-11, in Triple OT Thriller

    Worcester, Mass. (April 10) -- In the longest game in Saint Anselm history, sophomore Colin Lacey (S. Hadley, Mass.) scored in the third overtime to lift the Hawks to a 12-11 win over Assumption. The game is the first overtime contest for Saint Anselm since the 2008 season.
