Alyssa Scott

Alyssa Scott is entering her first season as an Assistant Coach with the Saint Anselm College field hockey team in 2019-20.

Scott comes to the Hilltop from Southern New Hampshire University where she recently capped a successful four-year playing career with the Penmen. Additionally, Scott has served as an assistant coach with Granite State Elite, Cave Girl Field Hockey and the USA Field Hockey Futures program.

She owns a Level I and Level II coaching certification from USA Field Hockey and worked as a summer strength and conditioning intern at Dynamic Strength and Conditioning in Nashua, N.H.

On the field, Scott made 55 appearances for the Penmen and served as a team captain during her final three seasons with the Hawks’ cross-town rivals. In 2018, Scott rebounded from an injury during her junior campaign and helped Southern New Hampshire set the team record for victories while qualifying for the squad's first-ever Northeast-10 Conference postseason tournament.

In the classroom, Scott earned placement on the NE10 Academic Honor Roll and was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies and a minor in Business Administration.
