Monette named NE-10 Special Teams Player of the Week

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Saint Anselm College senior wide receiver Ryan Monette was named the Northeast-10 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, it was announced by the league office.

Monette brought a 56-yard punt return to the end zone for the Hawks' first score of the day in a 28-25 setback to Southern Connecticut on Saturday. He registered 156 all-purpose yards with four kick returns for 49 yards; four punt returns for 68 yards and seven catches for 43 yards.

The senior currently ranks third on the team with 41 catches for 368 yards and two touchdowns. He is also the leading punt returner on the squad with 15 returns for 143 yards and a score, while registering 16 kick returns for 278 yards, for 824 all-purpose yards.

Saint Anselm returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to American International College for a 12 p.m. game as part of Northeast-10 Championship Weekend.
