Manchester, N.H. (November 1) -- On Saturday afternoon, the Saint Anselm football team dropped a 35-0 final to the Stonehill Skyhawks on Senior Day at Grappone Stadium. Prior to today's game, the team recognized the program's 15 seniors who were making their final appearance at Grappone Stadium.

Stonehill jumped out to a quick 14-0 first-quarter lead on a pair of touchdown catches by Jon Kaloyanides before the Hawk defense began to make some headway and send the game into the break within reach at 14-0. Stonehill added a trio of scores in the third quarter to put the game away though, led by a 39-yard TD by Jeff Payne and a 31-yd score by QB Cruz Parsons.

In the air, senior wide receiver Geoff Stevens (Andover, Mass.) pulled down four passes for 66 yards to lead the team.

Parsons was efficient through the air, completing 10-of-12 passes for 102 yards and three touchdown strikes. Kaloyanides led the receiving corps with six catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, senior Brian Tormollan (Waterville, Maine) led the Hawks with 11 tackles, including two for a loss. Kyle Hayes (Merritt Island, Fla.) made 10 stops and had two tackles for a loss, while Dan Bohenek (Bridgewater, Mass.) and Conor O'Brien (Scituate, Mass.) had nine tackles each.
