St. Marie Earns NE-10 All-Academic Honors

Easton, Mass. (February 7) -- Saint Anselm junior running back Luke St. Marie (Mill Creek, Wash.) was named to the Northeast-10 Football All-Academic Team, as announced by the Northeast-10 Conference and voted on by the league's sports information directors.

St. Marie, a Northeast-10 First Team All-Conference selection and a member of the Football Gazette All-Region Team, was one of the leading rushers in the conference last season. He rushed for a Saint Anselm single-game record 241 yards in a road win over Merrimack. For that performance, he earned the New England College Football Writers Gold Helmet Award for that week.

Academically, St. Marie is a biology major and has a cumulative grade-point average of 3.66.
