Larson Named to Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team

Easton, Mass. (November 15) -- Saint Anselm senior defensive end Casey Larson (Pascoag, R.I.) was honored as a Northeast-10 First Team All-Conference selection for the third straight season, as voted by the Northeast-10 Conference football coaches.

Larson led the Hawks with 70 tackles this season, including 13.5 tackles for loss and six sacks. He ends his Saint Anselm career with a number of school records, including most career sacks, tied for most career tackles for a loss, most career forced fumbles, most career fumble recoveries, most yards lost from sacks and most yards lost from tackles for a loss.

A three-time All-Conference selection, Larson was a Preseason All-American this season after earning Second Team All-America honors in 2006. In 2006, he was named as the Northeast-10 Co-Defensive Lineman of the Year and a New England Football Writers Association Division II/III All-Star. In addition, he was also named as a Second Team All-Region performer and a First Team All-ECAC Division II All-Star.
