Recreation & Intramural Sports

A well-rounded intramural and recreational program provides opportunities for students at every level of skill to participate in athletic activities. Saint Anselm's intramural and recreation program offers activities that appeal to the entire student body.

Programs and activities change each year, depending on student interests and participation. All students must first register for a particular activity prior to beginning a program.

Team Sports
Recent team sports included basketball, co-ed ultimate Frisbee, co-ed volleyball, ice hockey, flag football, floor hockey, indoor soccer, and softball.

Recreational Activities
Typical activities include aerobic classes, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, golf instruction, fitness clinics, racquetball clinics, racquetball tournaments, tennis instruction, tennis tournaments, a wallyball tournament, a whiffleball tournament, and learn-to-play clinics.

Intramurals are open to all students, staff and faculty of Saint Anselm College. Intercollegiate athletes who are in their season of competition are not eligible to compete in intramurals until their season is complete.

Students who are looking to join an existing team may do so through free agency. For more information regarding recreational and intramural activities at Saint Anselm, please contact Director Ian Burgess.
