WESTFIELD, Mass. – Senior Shannon Conley of the Saint Anselm College women's cross country finished in fourth place as an individual at Saturday's 22nd annual James Earley Invitational.
The Hawks finished 10th out of the crowded field of 33 teams competing in the 5K race.
Conley's time of 18:38.66 led all NCAA Division II runners in the race. Junior Liberty Gendron finished in 39th place out of 257 runners with a time of 19:52.03 while senior Sarah Panteleos crossed the finish line in 46th place (20:02.86).
Senior Kelsie Nern finished with a time of 21:10.63 and junior Anna Barrell clocked in at 21:32.66. Freshman Gabrielle Dionne rounded out the field of Saint Anselm runners with a time of 21:58.41. Each Hawks runner set a season-low time on a 5K course.
Saint Anselm returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 22, heading to the Northeast-10 Conference championship hosted by American International College. The women's race will begin at 11 a.m.
