117 Saint Anselm Student-Athletes Tabbed for NE-10 Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – One hundred seventeen Saint Anselm College student-athletes, representing each of the school's intercollegiate athletics programs in the conference, were named to the Spring 2012 Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. The honor roll recognizes student-athletes at each of the conference's 16 institutions for their success in the classroom.

Women’s Cross Country Garners USTFCCCA Academic Honors
NEW ORLEANS – Senior Bianca Ciuffredo (Worcester, Mass.), junior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.), sophomore Joanna Marczyk (Stratford, Conn.) and freshman (Frankie Mueller (Northborough, Mass.) were all selected as United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honorees, while the Saint Anselm College women’s cross team was collectively named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, the organization announced recently.

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Junior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.) of the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team was named to the eight-member Northeast-10 Women’s Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team, the conference announced Friday.

Doyle Named USTFCCCA East All-Region
NEW ORLEANS – Junior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.) of the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team has earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors after her performance at the NCAA East Regional Championships on Nov. 6, the USTFCCCA announced Monday. Athletes of member schools that finished in the top 25 individually at one of the eight regional sites earned the honor.

Women’s Cross Country Places Fifth at NCAA East Regional
BOSTON – Junior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.) placed 17th overall to lead the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team to a fifth-place finish at the 27-team NCAA East Regional on Sunday afternoon at Franklin Park.

Men’s and Women’s Cross Country to Compete at NCAA East Regional
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College men’s and women’s cross country teams will each send seven runners to compete at the NCAA East Regional, which is being hosted by the University of Massachusetts Lowell at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass., on Sunday, Nov. 6. The women’s 6K race kicks off at 1:30 p.m., with the men’s 10K following at 2:30 p.m.

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Junior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.) placed 25th overall as the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team finished 10th at the Northeast-10 Conference championships on Sunday morning at Stanley Park.

NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Tuesday that the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team has been ranked ninth in the latest USTFCCCA NCAA Division II East Region poll.

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Junior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.) and freshman Courtney Bennett (Barnstead, N.H.) placed 11th and 19th overall, respectively, as the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team finished fifth at the 38-team James Earley Invitational, at Stanley Park on Saturday morning.

WENHAM, Mass. – Junior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.) and freshman Courtney Bennett (Barnstead, N.H.) placed second and third overall, respectively, as the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team won the 26-team Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College on Saturday morning.

NASHUA, N.H. – Freshman Courtney Bennett (Barnstead, N.H.) captured the top spot to lead the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team to a first-place finish at the Raider Invitational, hosted by Rivier College on Friday afternoon.

Women’s Cross Country Places 24th at National Catholic Championship
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Sophomore Stephanie Kearsley (Manchester, N.H.) was the top finisher for the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team as she finished 133rd at the 32nd Annual National Catholic Championship, hosted by the University of Notre Dame on Friday afternoon. The Hawks finished in 24th as a team with 685 points, while Notre Dame won the meet with 22 points.

Women’s Cross Country Places Fourth at Shacklette Invitational
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Freshman Courtney Bennett (Barnstead, N.H.) finished fifth overall to lead the Saint Anselm College women’s cross country team to a fourth-place finish at the 30th Annual Shacklette Invitational, which was hosted on campus by the Hawks.

108 Saint Anselm College student-athletes, representing all 20 Saint Anselm intercollegiate teams, were named to the 2011 Fall Dean's List. Women’s cross country and women’s lacrosse each had 11 members on the list, the most of all teams.
