CICERO, N.Y. – Junior Stephen Hunt shot a two-day total of 152 to lead the Saint Anselm College golf team at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational.
The Hawks finished in 16th place out of 19 teams, shooting a collective 628 across the two-day tournament hosted at the Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club.
Hunt shot a 74 on the second day of action, finishing the two-day tournament with a 152, eight-over par. Freshman Alec Brunelle, who carded a four-over 76 on Friday, shot a second round 78 to finish at 10-over par.
Junior Billy Argus and senior Robbie Cole improved upon their first day scores, scoring a 79 and a 77, respectively, to conclude the tournament. Sophomore Patrick McLoughlin posted an 81, rounding out the Hawks entrants.
Southern New Hampshire's Matt Paradis led all golfers with a seven-under 137, turning in a 70 on the second-round scorecard after sprinting out to the early lead with a 67 through the first 18 holes.
Rollins College led the field by shooting a combined 573, three-under par.
The Hawks conclude the fall schedule at the NEIGA Championship to be held at Captain's Golf Course in Brewster, Mass. starting on Sunday, Oct. 22.
