Field Hockey remains at #3 in NFHCA poll

CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Saint Anselm College field hockey team remained at #3 in the latest NFHCA Coaches Poll announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hawks improved to 14-2 and 9-1 in the Northeast-10 Conference after picking up their sixth-straight win with a 4-0 victory over Southern Connecticut on Saturday. Saint Anselm also added a 3-0 win over Saint Michael's last week.

10 different players registered at least one point in the Hawks' 2-0 week, led by a goal and an assist each from Jamie McNamara and Mia Vecchione. Katherine Sears picked up the win in both games while not having allowed a goal in the past 152:43 of time in the cage.

Saint Anselm returns to action on Tuesday night when they host Franklin Pierce University at 7 p.m. with a chance to clinch at least a share of the Northeast-10 Regular Season Championship and the top seed in the upcoming NE-10 Tournament.
